Best restaurant in Wodonga/Albury! Delicious food. Great menu. Every dish we had was fresh and very tasty. Good prices. Beautiful old building with a gorgeous, stylish interior. Staff actually smiling, welcoming and helpful! Plenty of parking out the back. Photos don't capture the fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended. Would be great for a workplace Christmas party. Can't wait to go again!

Wonderful traditional and warm Italian European vibe, an authentic menu, with very friendly service. Toasty outdoor heaters were very welcomed during the cold evening. Lovely Tuscan atmosphere throughout the place! Congrats to the team

Had such a great experience at Casa 1872! The food was absolutely delicious and everything we tried was full of flavor. The burrata bruschetta was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the tiramisu was an absolute must try, easily one of the best we’ve had. A special shoutout to our host Romi, who was exceptional with service. He was warm, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect for us throughout the evening. Amazing food, fantastic service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place, very clean great atmosphere and the friendliness from the staff was amazing. Ordered the chicken parmi and highly recommend incredibly seasoned thick cut chips and the flavours from the parmi were out of this world 10/10 definitely recommend!

The missus and I had Valentines day dinner here, WOW! What an experience, this place is phenomenal, from the moment we walked in untill the moment we left, everything was perfect. Usually when reviewing a place I can come up with at least one small criticism at least, but these guys were something else. Everything was perfect. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Valentines day with red loveheart balloons, and real candles. The service was next level professional, and very friendly, the owner himself ensuring we had everything we needed, the staff, although only young, were very well trained and proficient. The kitchen worked hand in hand with the wood fired pizza oven for perfectly timed meal arrivals, like a well oiled machine. Meals arrived in a very timely fashion, only about 10 minutes for entree, 15 minutes for mains, deserts in about 15 mins too. The drinks waiter was on the spot all night, and fast also. The food! My God! You wouldn't find better in Lygon Street. From the Foccacia Aglio and Beef briskit Arranchini balls for entree, to the Costolette D'Agnello Alla Griglia Lamb cuttlets and Polo Alla Caprese pizza for dinner, to the house made Tiramisu and coffee for dessert. Everything was spot on perfect. A very romantic dining experience indeed. Even the prices here are to be commended, very reasonable in our opinion, for a full 3 course dinner for two, including drinks and after dinner coffees, I only paid $160 bucks. A perfect Valentines day night was had. Absolutely 6 stars if I could give it!

As expected Rommy and his staff were all attentive to details & accommodated us in a busy hour without any booking.Food are fresh, delicious, quality and fair size.Drink list is limited & simple. Definitely a repeat customer. Gonna try more dessert next time. Cream brulle is my thing , liked theirs but can do better if the top caramelised sugar was thinner and more burnt. The food was amazingly delicious 10/10 especially the pasta dishes and the burrata bruschetta dish. The staff and owner were so lovely, polite and accomodating for customers choosing to sit outside. The outdoor deck area is a perfect outdoor space to relax and unwind with candles/fairy lights to set the vibe. Will be coming here again (: keep up the great work guys! This restaurant is now my favourite restaurant in Wodonga!
